Brad P. Christy
Author of YA Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror
Brad was the weird kid growing up. He was that kid who had a life-sized poster of Freddy on his door, nose always buried in a Stephen King or RA Salvatore book, and looking forward to the next RPG campaign. When not engaged in horror and fantasy worlds, he was involved in wrestling and competition running. At 18 years old, not being disciplined enough for college, Brad joined the Army, which launched a 23-year career in the JAG Corps. During that time, he met the love of his life and earned a master’s degree in English and Creative Writing.
In 2019, he started teaching college English, literature, and creative writing. In 2022, he got his certificate to teach 9th and 10th grade English and started working at a DAEP (disciplinary alternative education program) school. It turned out that he was uniquely suited to connect with and teach troubled youths.
He is also a member of various professional writing organizations and is a writing mentor through the Horror Writers Association, which is deeply fulfilling. His short stories and poetry have been featured in more than a dozen publications.
