Flesh-eating monsters hiding in your child’s room, soul-stealing witches, ghost children, demons, psychopaths, and the occasional possessed treat, these are just some of the otherworldly forces roaming the humble streets of Greensburg, Iowa this Halloween.

Sometimes funny, sometimes horrifying, I started this Halloween tradition more than a decade ago by writing an annual short story for my friends and family as a way to keep in touch while I was serving in the Army. Now I invite you to join those I call my friends as I unleash these stories on the world.
